“Own business” grant: money for business ideas of Ukrainians is easy!

Destroyed enterprises, relocation, occupation of production facilities, lack of labor force. This is the reality in which Ukrainian entrepreneurs have been living for a year and a half.

Support of Ukrainian business in wartime has become one of the priority tasks for the Government of Ukraine and international organizations. To overcome this challenge, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal initiated the government grant program “eRobota” – a system of grants from the state.

The “Own Business” or micro-grants program is implemented by the Ministry of Economy and is the most popular component of the “eRobota” program.

“During the year of the existence of the “Own Business” program, it has become an active support for micro and small businesses of Ukraine.

More than 6,000 people have already received a grant and created about 14,000 new jobs, – says First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyridenko, – confectionery and service stations, beauty salons and medical offices – thousands of Ukrainian businesses have received money from the state and are actively developing.

The stories of our entrepreneurs are extremely inspiring! They are our example of indomitability and faith in the future, which we are building right now.”

On July 27 and 28, a large-scale event dedicated to the anniversary of the Vlasna Sprava grant program will take place.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy Yuliya Svyridenko and other politicians and entrepreneurs will join the panel discussion.

Grant opportunities from the USAID Competitive Economy of Ukraine Program will also be presented during the event. Representatives of SMEs that have already benefited from the support will talk about their experience and ways to overcome today’s challenges.
