Employees of the Security Service detained an official of “Ukrzaliznytsia” who was working for the enemy and was preparing a Russian airstrike on the logistics routes of the Ukrainian army in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

The Russian military engaged an official of the local unit of the UZ to cooperate in early 2023. On the instructions of the curators, she collected intelligence about the locations of the bases of the Security and Defense Forces in the city of Dnipro.
“Intelligence information was needed by the Russians for the preparation of targeted air attacks on strategically important objects of the transport infrastructure of Ukraine. However, the SBU employees worked to anticipate and prevented the implementation of the enemy’s plans – the perpetrator was promptly exposed and detained at her place of residence,” the law enforcement officers noted.
The suspect is currently in custody, she faces up to 8 years in prison. An investigation is ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the crime.
