The Ukrainian Football Association has terminated cooperation with the head coach of the Ukrainian national team, Oleksandr Petrakov, informs with reference to the UAF website.
“UAF is sincerely grateful to Alexander Petrakov and his coaching staff for their high professionalism and unforgettable victories as head coach of the national team. At the same time, the unique achievements of Oleksandr Vasilyevich together with the youth national team of Ukraine and the world championship of the U-20 team are forever inscribed in golden letters in the history of Ukrainian football,” the message says.
UAF wished the coach success in his future career and new victories. In turn, Petrakov thanked the association for the opportunity to lead and work with the national team, as well as the players of the national team and the coaching and administrative staff.
“We strove to achieve the greatest and will give Ukraine the joy of victory in the most difficult period of the recent history of the state.
