Poland and Great Britain are working on creating a coalition of countries that will issue an ultimatum not to participate in the Olympic Games next year if Russian and Belarusian athletes participate. This is reported by the Polish mass media with reference to the Minister of Sports and Tourism of Poland, Kamil Bortnychuk, reports .
“Poland and Great Britain are making efforts to create an international coalition against the participation of Russia and Belarus in next year’s Olympics. If the IOC allows Russian and Belarusian athletes to compete at the Paris Games, Poland and other countries can issue an ultimatum. It will depend on whether it will be possible to create an effective coalition of countries without which the Olympic Games could not take place,” said Bortnychuk.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, commenting on the possible permission for Russian athletes to compete in international competitions, said that the IOC wants to put representatives of the army that kills and rapes under a neutral flag.
