Russian military bloggers reported large losses due to the fault of the command

Russian military bloggers reported heavy losses in the area of ​​the city of Kremennaya in the Luhansk region of Ukraine in the ranks of the largest unit of the Russian army – the 20th Guards Red Banner Army.

According to the information published by a number of well-known pro-military telegram channels, Russian soldiers died en masse under fire from Ukrainian artillery while they were standing in formation waiting for the arrival of the general. This is how the Telegram channels “Rybar”, “Senior Eddy”, “Turned to Z War”, “Two Majors” and “Notes of Midshipman Ptychkin” described the events, the total number of subscribers of which exceeds three million users.

“A tragic incident occurred near Kremennaya in one of the divisions that was about to go on the offensive. For two hours, people stood in a crowd in one place and waited for the division commander to speak his motivating words… Instead of the general, the military waited for Ukrainian MLRS HIMARS and artillery,” – so, for example, Telegram channel “Rybar” writes about the incident.

The reports do not specify the exact number of dead and wounded – in different sources it varies from 50 to 100. Also, the name of the general, who allegedly made the mass death of personnel possible, is not mentioned.

According to some, so far unconfirmed data, it may be about Major General Sukhrab Akhmedov, who previously commanded the “Vostok” troop group and the coastal troops of the 155th Marine Brigade of the Pacific Fleet. It was this brigade that previously wrote an open letter to the governor of the Primorsky Krai, in which it actually accused Akhmedov of the large losses, up to 400 people, in the battles near the village of Pavlovka in the Donetsk region of Ukraine.

The Ministry of Defense of Russia did not comment on the information published by the military commission. The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces also did not report the strikes on Kremennaya.
