On the approach to Moscow, Russian air defense equipment shot down two drones at night on Wednesday. One in the Domodedov district, the other on the Minsk highway. This was reported by Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin.
According to him, there is no information about the victims of falling debris. Emergency services are on site.
The Mash Telegram channel published a recording that allegedly captured the moment of the destruction of one of the drones in the Odintsovo district of the Moscow region. The RBC correspondent, who was in the Lefortovo district, reported that he heard loud noises at three in the morning.
The later destruction of two drones was confirmed by the Ministry of Defense of Russia. The department announced a request for a “terrorist attack” using drones on objects in the Moscow region.

In just the last month, this is already the seventh attempt to attack the Russian capital with drones. On July 24, one drone crashed into a business center under construction on Lykhachev Avenue, and the other crashed into one of the buildings of the Ministry of Defense. On July 30 and August 1, drones hit skyscrapers in Moscow City. In the same period, several drones were shot down in the Moscow region.
