The Moscow Regional Court fined a transgender girl, a former employee of the FSB from Chita, Kateryna Myers, 300,000 rubles. She was found guilty in a criminal case of violation of requirements for the protection of state secrets. Mediazona reports this with reference to lawyer Konstantin Erokhin.
Myers tried to leave the borders of Russia in December 2022, but the border service did not let her go, citing the fact that she had access to information from the guest house. The case was considered separately at a closed session. Myers pleaded guilty. The prosecution requested a fine of 400,000 rubles. The court’s decision will not be appealed. The details of the charges are unknown, as Myers and Erokhin signed non-disclosure agreements. They did not contest the attempt to go abroad.

According to her, she was also subjected to insults and discrimination based on gender.
