The family of the head of the European Union-sanctioned Russian defense holding “Tactical Missile Arms” owns real estate in the Czech Republic worth more than eight million euros, according to a new investigation by Navalny’s team.
According to the authors of the investigation, the son-in-law of the head of the holding, Boris Obnosov, Rostyslav Zorykov, has a four-story house in the historical district of Prague arranged for it – it costs six million euros.
In addition, Zorykov owns a 140-meter penthouse worth more than one million euros in the capital of the Czech Republic. A sign hangs on the door of the penthouse indicating that Rostyslav Zorykov and his wife Olga, daughter of Boris Obnosov, live in the house.
Also, Obnosov’s relatives have arranged three more apartments in Prague: one of them, according to the documents, belongs to Rostislav Zorykov’s father, the second to his younger brother Daniil, and the third to Rostislav himself.
Commenting on the publication of the investigation, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Anti-Corruption Foundation, Maria Pevchykh, said that the FBK would require the Czech authorities to ban Boris Obnosov and the Zorykovs from entering the country. She noted that she does not understand why the Czech and EU governments are still letting the Zorykovs into Europe.
