The former employees of the military plant received 17 and 13 years in prison in the case of treason

On Tuesday, the Kursk Regional Court sentenced two former employees of the defense enterprise in the case of treason and preparation for sabotage. Sydorkina’s former spouses received 17 and 13 years in prison and were fined 800,000 rubles. This was reported to TASS by the press service of the court.
The investigation claimed that the defendants were collecting information about military facilities in the region and were preparing to blow up the railway line along which the Ministry of Defense transports military equipment.
The FSB reported on the detention of a “group of saboteurs” in the Kursk region in July of last year. According to TASS, the Sidorkins were detained back in the spring. In the message of the agency, it is stated that they gave confessional testimony. The court considered the case from the end of May.
