In Rostov-on-Don, the court sentenced Ilsur Aminev, a Russian conscript, to 10 years in a strict regime colony, and found him guilty of murdering a fellow soldier in the war in Ukraine.
According to the investigation, on January 28, while on the territory of the Luhansk region occupied by Russian troops, Aminev shot a colleague several times with a Kalashnikov assault rifle. It is noted that the mobilized man sat next to the corpse for several days, as he could not leave the combat position, and then wrote a statement of duty. At the trial, Aminev explained his actions by the “immoral behavior” of the murdered man.
This is not the first such case. Earlier, the Rostov Garrison Court sentenced serviceman Murad Gaziev, who shot a fellow soldier out of jealousy for his wife, to 9 years in prison. In April 2023, Maksym Moshkin, who killed a colleague in a bathhouse with a knife, was sentenced to seven years in prison.
Last June, Russian soldiers Ivan Svetlichny and Alexander Efremov were sentenced to 8 and 10 years in prison for the murder of two servicemen at an observation post in the Kharkiv region.
