The nighttime mass attack by the Russians on Ukraine damaged a number of energy infrastructure facilities, but consumption restrictions are not expected.

Overhead power lines in Khmelnytskyi region were cut off due to night shelling. As a result, 3 settlements in the region were cut off, and 1.7 thousand consumers were left without electricity.
Also, as a result of the latest shelling, 2 settlements in the Zaporizhia region, 3 settlements – in the Mykolaiv region were cut off.
In the Kherson region, 15 settlements were cut off, almost 12,000 consumers were left without electricity. At the same time, they asked the Ministry of Energy, they are already healed.
Several air lines were also disconnected in Donetsk region. 5 settlements, more than 20 thousand subscribers remained without electricity. As a result of the shelling, the mine, where several people were, was cut off.
As a result of previous shelling, some consumers in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Chernihiv regions are still without electricity. Energy workers continue to restore power where the security situation allows.
In total, more than 32,000 consumers were restored to power over the last day.
Also, at night, the interstate power transmission line with Hungary was disconnected due to damage in the territory of the neighboring country. It is currently under renovation.
The ministry reminded that the “largest since the years of independence” repair campaign of energy facilities is underway to prepare for the next heating season. Both generation facilities and network infrastructure are being repaired.
“However, restrictions for household consumers are not planned. The energy system works stably,” the Ministry of Energy emphasized.
