Russian soldiers probably shot several captured soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The corresponding video appeared on Sunday in various Telegram channels – both Ukrainian and Russian. The drone footage shows one group of soldiers shooting at another group from a distance of several meters. Those who are shot are unarmed.

The Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Dmitry Lubynets, said that the murder took place on February 24 in the Bakhmut district of the Donetsk region. According to him, at least seven Ukrainian soldiers were killed.

In turn, the Ukrainian project Deep State clarifies that everything happened in the area of the village of Ivanovskoe near Bakhmut, that the dead, with a high degree of probability, are soldiers of the 92nd separate assault brigade, and that there are not seven of them, but nine.

It is noted that this is at least the third such case in a month, but the most numerous in terms of the number of dead prisoners.

  • In Ukraine, more than 50,000 criminal cases are being investigated for alleged crimes, including murders of prisoners committed by the Russian military. The Ministry of Defense of Russia either rejects or does not comment on such accusations.
