Officially, the connection of the detention with the criminal case was not reported.

Promes is a former player of the Netherlands national team, one of the best legionnaires in the history of the Russian Premier League. The football player played 233 matches for “Spartak” in which he scored 130 goals and made 46 assists. On Saturday, the team plays in St. Petersburg against the main rival and reigning champion, “Zenith”.
