From June 1, the Center “Violence.net” begins to accept applications from all regions of Russia – they promise to help in person or online.
The center provides legal and psychological assistance to victims of domestic violence, conducts career counseling, and also informs society about the problem. You can contact the Center by phone, through the website, social networks and messengers.
About the need to expand the work of “Violence.net”, he drew a cartoon, which was voiced by the singer Monetochka.
The center calls to support its work with donations: from a Russian card, on Patreon or in cryptocurrency.
- The “Violence.net” center was created in 2015. Every year, its volunteers treat hundreds of victims of domestic violence. The financial state does not help the Center.
- In December 2020, the Ministry of Justice of Russia entered the Center “Violence.net” in the register of foreign agents. Its head, Anna Ryvyna, said at the time that the decision was revenge for his support of the law against domestic violence and the LGBT+ community.
- In February 2023, the Ministry of Justice of Russia declared Ryvyna herself a “foreign agent”: in his opinion, she “distributed negative information about the activities of state bodies”, in particular – the Ministry of Defense. Ryvyna disputes this status in court.
