One of these stations is located on the territory of the Valdai National Park, next to the nearest settlement to Putin’s residence in Valdai. The “Proekt” correspondent discovered it in the fall of 2022: the station with a helipad is under guard. Judging by the satellite images studied by the publication, the station and railway for Putin on Valdae were built in 2019.
The station in Novo-Ogarevo was built in 2015, as evidenced by satellite images. It is located 400 meters from Putin’s residence in the Moscow region. As “Project” writes, the station is hidden behind a high fence, on which surveillance cameras are installed every 10 meters.
In 2017, a platform and a new dead-end railway branch appeared at the Sochi president’s residence “Bocharov Creek”, “Proekt” found out. This branch is hidden by a fence from the tracks along which trains run.

However, Putin began to use it regularly in the second half of 2021 – it was then that the Russian army began preparations for the invasion of Ukraine. Among the features of the train is that the presidential carriages are armored, and the train schedule is “adjusted to Putin so that his train can travel at maximum speed and without stops.”
