Electricity consumption on February 9 remains significant due to the temperature drop, the power deficit persists. At the same time, the situation is improving in Odessa and the Odesa district, and large amounts of electricity are gradually being supplied. This was reported by the press service of NEC “Ukrenergo”.

What about limits
It is noted that consumption limits did not apply to Kharkiv, Kherson, and Khmelnytskyi regions, where actual consumption measurements are planned today — consumption limits will not be applied in these regions.
At the same time, other operators of distribution systems (oblenergo) have been provided with consumption limits that apply during the day.
As noted by the company, repair work continues in the Odessa region. Power engineers work around the clock and make maximum efforts to restore the electricity supply to the level that existed before the accident as soon as possible.

The energy system of Ukraine has already survived 13 enemy missile attacks and 15 UAV strikes on energy facilities.
In addition, more than 10 GW of the main installed capacities are not yet available to the Ukrainian energy system and are under the control of the enemy. This is the largest in Ukraine and Europe Zaporizhia NPP, Zaporizhia TPP, Luhansk TPP, Uglehorskaya TPP, Kakhovskaya HPP.
