The court in Rostov-on-Don sentenced a former mercenary of PMC “Wagner” to 11 years and six months in prison. He was recruited into the colony, where he served his sentence for murder. Having won back Ukraine, he received a pardon and returned to Rostov, where he soon committed another murder in the same way.
According to law enforcement agencies, in April, 34-year-old Sergey Rudenko planned to rent an apartment. He argued with the 52-year-old landlady about the rent, stabbed her several times and strangled her with a cord, then stole her phone.
“Mediazona” found in the court databases a sentence for a person with the same name and surname, handed down in Rostov-on-Don in 2018. Then Sergey Rudenko was sentenced to 10 years in a strict regime colony for the murder of his girlfriend. During the quarrel, he strangled his co-habitant with a cord and a belt, after which he stole her jewelry and equipment.
