Wives of the mobilized mass text to the direct line with Putin

In the regional chat rooms of the wives mobilized “The Way Home”, screenshots of the SMS to the direct line with Vladimir Putin, which is due to pass on December 14, are shared. The publication “7×7” drew attention to this.

The authors of the SMS ask when their relatives will return home, are outraged by the conditions in the rear and at the front, write about problems with salaries and vacations, and also demand the replacement of the mobilized – “why are only 1% of the Mobikov still there, on their own?”.

Earlier, relatives of those mobilized wrote a manifesto and petition against indefinite mobilization, launched a car flash mob and are trying to organize actions. The Ulyanovsk flash mob participants were released to the police and the deputy governor because of the “Bring back my husband! I’m Za#balas” stickers. The authorities refuse to agree on rallies.

• Putin announced the mobilization of Russians for war with Ukraine at the end of September 2022. A little more than a month later, he announced that the mobilization was over, but he never signed the decree to that effect. Later, in response to a parliamentary request, the presidential administration confirmed that the decree on mobilization continues to apply.
• According to Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, 300,000 people were drafted into the war during the announced mobilization.
• On December 17, shortly after the direct line, the “United Russia” congress will be held, at which Putin may be re-nominated for the post of president. He plans to practice ego for the fifth time.
