In Chernivtsi, law enforcement officers exposed the leadership of the Chernivtsi Law College of the National University “Odesa Law Academy” for corruption. The participants of the scheme demanded more than 6,000 dollars from graduate students, reports the Office of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Chernivtsi region. According to the law enforcement officers, managers and teachers of the institution organized a mechanism for receiving bribes and demanded money from graduating students for taking exams. “Participants of the scheme demanded more than 6,000 USD from graduate students,” the SBU reports. Now she has been informed of the suspicion under part 3 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code about the receipt of illegal benefits by an official. The investigation is ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the crime and bring to justice the persons involved in the corruption scheme.
