The Verkhovna Rada’s Committee on Humanitarian and Information Policy proposes to allow Ukrainian publishing houses to publish books by Russian authors who have publicly condemned the Russian Federation’s war against Ukraine. For this, they propose to introduce changes to the legislation, reports “Detector Media” with reference to the statement of the chairman of the committee, Mykyta Poturaev. According to Poturaev, the capital publishing house “Clio” addressed the committee with such a request. They are preparing for publication a monograph about Ivan Bohun by the Russian historian Tetyana Tairova-Yakovleva, who researched the history of Ukraine in the 16th-18th centuries and wrote books about Ivan Mazepa, Koliiv Oblast, and the Ruin period.
