At the border with Poland, customs officials found 15 undeclared old prints from 1866-1901 in the man’s possession.
The Ukrainian tried to take them out through the “green corridor” at night through the Ustylug customs post, according to the Facebook of Volyn Customs.
Old prints were found in the man’s luggage.
It is noted that the books have signs of cultural, historical or antique value.

“Old prints will be sent for examination to determine the degree of value of each copy and the total value of the selection“– the customs office notes.
A protocol was drawn up on the man for violation of customs regulations (Part 3 of Article 471 of the Customs Code).

For non-declaration of goods, he faces a fine of UAH 5.1 thousand.
Old prints – these are publications printed from the middle of the 15th century, when printing was introduced in Europe, up to and including 1830, when printing on rag paper was invented on manual machines.
