In the city of Zboriv, in the Ternopil region, one of the schools was closed for quarantine due to a detected case of hepatitis A in an employee of the food block.
Schoolchildren were sent for 10 days of distance learning, Zborivska hromada reported.
During the meeting of the commission on technogenic and ecological safety and emergency situations at the Zboriv city council, it became known that the woman works at local school No. 2 in the food block.
“The commission made a decision to transfer students to distance education in ZOSH No. 2 in the city of Zboriv from November 8 to 17, 2023“, says the message of the community.

The woman was hospitalized in the infectious department of one of the hospitals of the Ternopil region, writes Zaxid.net.

We will remind you that one case of hepatitis A was recorded in Ternopil Oblast on November 3.
Earlier, on October 24, an outbreak of hepatitis A was recorded in Vinnytsia region.
Subsequently, an emergency situation was declared in the region due to an outbreak of infection.
As of November 1, the Vinnytsia OVA reported that 207 cases of the disease had been laboratory-confirmed.
