In Kyiv, the law enforcement officers informed about the suspicion of a provocateur blogger who provoked conflicts with the military during the curfew.

All this was recorded by the man on video and distributed on the network, the Security Service reports.

According to the SBU, after the curfew began, the man from Kyiv moved through the streets of the city and provoked conflict situations with military personnel and law enforcement officers.

When verbal conflicts arose, the blogger began to stream them on his own Facebook page.

“During the video streams, he insulted Ukrainian defenders and fixed their geolocations on the territory of the capital”– the SBU reports.

According to the investigation, its content played along to Russian propagandists who make fake stories about the socio-political situation in Ukraine.

In addition, Russian special services could use online broadcast data to identify Ukrainian military personnel and track their whereabouts, the SBU adds.

The accused faces up to 8 years in prison.

The Security Service of Ukraine noted that the issue of possible additional qualification of the Internet star’s criminal actions is currently being resolved.
