The “Vuzh” assault rifle is one of the most experienced “Safari” fighters. He took part in three combat operations, saved the lives of three brothers, was between life and death for almost an hour.

The man says, above all, he wants to take revenge for his nephew and friend who died near Kupiansk.

The story of the fighter was told in the National Police of Ukraine.

“Vuzha” is 45 years old, more than 20 of them he spent in law enforcement agencies in his native Volyn. At the beginning of this year, he decided to go to the front – he joined the “Safari” regiment of the “Lyut” brigade.

The man says that his greatest motivation at the front is revenge for the people dear to him

During his service, he took part in three combat operations and saved the lives of three comrades.

According to his comrades-in-arms, he was between life and death for almost an hour.

Probably the most dangerous was the operation near Kurdyumivka. Then I had to evacuate my comrade “Korzhyk” from the battlefield. According to my comrades, I was unconscious for an hour and a half after an enemy SPG (machine-mounted anti-tank grenade launcher) flew at us.

Fortunately, I recovered and got down to business. The evacuation of “Korzyk” seemed like an eternity to me – we were accompanied by enemy artillery and drones, which tried to eliminate us. In addition to the comrade, it was possible to remove two more wounded soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the battlefield“, – says “Vuzh”.

The police officer explains the choice of callsign simply – he loves snakes very much.

The man adds that his greatest motivation at the front is revenge for his dear people.

I want to take revenge for my nephew who died last October near Kupyansk, and for my friend who was also killed near Kupyansk“, the fighter shares.

Parents, wife and three sons are waiting for “Vuzha” at home.

It was for their sake, as well as in memory of my fallen nephew, that I went to the front“, the man adds.

The policeman shares that the first thing he would like to do after winning is to buy a “Cruiser” motorcycle and go to his brothers in different parts of Ukraine.

He also dreams of visiting the Ukrainian Crimea, where he served his military service, and swimming in the Kerch Strait.
