A man was arrested in Lviv who is suspected of stealing phones, headphones and other things from children while they were playing games. If proven guilty, the man faces up to 8 years in prison, the police of the Lviv region informs. The law enforcement officers found out that on June 19, around 8:00 p.m., two local boys, aged 10 and 12, were playing on the playground on Morozenka Street in Lviv. Each of them had a bag with them, which contained a mobile phone, headphones, keys and pocket money. The children’s mothers contacted the police. With the help of video surveillance cameras, the law enforcement officers established that a 35-year-old man from Lviv was involved in the theft. During the search, material evidence was found and seized from the man. The man was detained under Article 185 of the Criminal Code (theft). The sanction of the article provides up to eight years of imprisonment. It will be recalled that a man who beat two teenagers in a skate park will be tried in Kyiv.
