A resident of one of the villages of the Brovarsky district repeatedly committed sexual violence against a 13-year-old girl for more than a year, reported Andriy Nebytov, head of the Main Directorate of the National Police of the Kyiv region. The family was already registered as being in difficult life circumstances and attracted the attention of juvenile services. And in April of this year, the police were anonymously informed about sexual violence against a child. “Around the end of April, we received an anonymous report from people that a father was raping his daughter in the village. We immediately went to the scene. In a short time, the child was removed from the family. When we conducted a forensic examination and talked to the child, the fact of rape has been confirmed,” Iryna Pryanishnikova, press secretary of the Kyiv region police, told “UP. Life”. It is very difficult for her – now she is receiving psychological help and, of course, she no longer lives with her father,” said a police representative. The perpetrator was placed in a temporary detention facility. The court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention. The man faces up to 15 years in prison. The girl is currently receiving psychological help. Other children were also removed from the family.
