In Horishnyi Plavnyi, Poltava Oblast, a woman was tried because her son cursed on the school bus. In the case, it is said that the woman “evaded the fulfillment of parental duties regarding the upbringing of her son.” They wanted to bring the brawler’s mother to administrative responsibility, but the Komsomol city court of the Poltava region closed the case at the end of July. On April 21, the boy was riding a school bus on the route “Pryshyb, Kobelyachok, Salivka” and spoke obscenely. In the case, it is said that this is how the schoolboy “violated public order and peace” (Article 173 of the Code of Criminal Procedure). The woman admitted her guilt completely and asked to close the proceedings on the grounds of insignificance. Judge Diana Komarova found the woman guilty of committing an administrative offense provided for in Part 1 of Article 184 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. She decided to close the case and gave her mother a verbal reprimand. We will remind you that similar cases were opened in other regions: recently in Khmelnytskyi region, the court wanted to fine a mother 850 hryvnias because her son spat kvass on a classmate. However, the schoolboy explained that he accidentally doused the boy. The woman appealed the decision and was released from responsibility. Also earlier in Lviv, the mother of a schoolboy who cursed at a classmate was fined. Read also: A schoolboy cursedly added the phrase “Glory of the nation” during the last bell: he was sued
