Ukrainian servicemen who return after captivity will undergo a full cycle of recovery and rehabilitation, developed together with foreign specialists using Western methods.
About this told in the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
“We are starting joint work on the creation of reintegration centers taking into account both domestic and foreign experiences of partners in rehabilitation and psychological assistance.
Ukrainian specialists were trained with the assistance of Alliance partners. Therefore, our task is to create the most comfortable conditions for the released defenders of Ukraine and provide them with professional assistance.”– noted Deputy Minister of Defense Nataliya Kalmykova.
Recovery courses will be created for servicemen after capture, where they will receive medical and psychological assistance, as well as – program of reintegration measures for recovery.
They also promise to provide support and care from various specialists. All conversations will be confidential.
“Such support will also be provided to family members of former prisoners in order to overcome difficult life circumstances and minimize negative consequences.”– added Nataliya Kalmykova.
