In Rostov-on-Don, the concert of the leader of the “Unfortunate Accident” group, Alexei Kortnev, was canceled after the mourning of pro-Kremlin activist Vitaly Borodin. This was reported by Don Mash with reference to the organizers of the event.

The concert was supposed to take place at the Pinot Noir restaurant on January 22. After the announcement of the event, Borodin, who is known for numerous denunciations of journalists, public figures, musicians, and artists, demanded that the performance be banned: “Kortnev is the most real Russophobe. He earns money here, but spends it on unknown things. He is already labeled a traitor,” the whistleblower claims. .

Alexey Kortnev repeatedly spoke out against the war in Ukraine, including before the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russian troops, and performed together with Ukrainian musicians. He also took part in Russian opposition rallies and concerts in support of political prisoners.

In February 2022, Kortnev wrote a post on Instagram strongly condemning the Russian invasion of Ukraine (the publication has now been deleted). At the same time, at a concert in Arkhangelsk, Kortnev said that it was a shame to play funny songs today and, ending the performance, said goodbye to the audience with the words “Peace – peace!”

After the start of the war between Russia and Ukraine, the concerts of the “Unfortunate Accident” group were canceled in several cities. In November, after the denunciation, “Unfortunate Accident” was excluded from the musical performance “Radio Day” of the “Quartet I” theater.

Earlier, there were reports that Russian entrepreneurs receive from the authorities lists of artists whose performances are undesirable because of their political position, and that Kortnev and “Neschastny slasov” were also mentioned in such lists.
