Belief in the Armed Forces and the family: what helps Ukrainians maintain stability during the war

Faith in the Armed Forces, one’s own family, relatives and friends help Ukrainians to maintain stability during the war. This is evidenced by the results of the survey of the sociological group “Rating” in June 2023. During the survey of Ukrainians aged 18 and over, sociologists found out that faith in the Armed Forces (86%), family, relatives and loved ones (61%) helped the largest number of compatriots to maintain stability during the war. More than a third of respondents (31%) owe their psychological stability to daily work. Faith in the state or God (religion) helps more than 20% of Ukrainians “stay afloat”. This answer option was supported by 12% of respondents. It was attended by 1,200 adult Ukrainians from all regions, except for the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea and Donbas and territories where there was no Ukrainian mobile phone service during the survey period. The results are weighted using current data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine. The research was conducted by telephone interview method. The error of representativeness with a confidence probability of 0.95 is no more than 2.8%.
