The Save Ukraine team of philanthropists was able to return 19 Ukrainian children from the temporarily occupied territories.
This was announced by the founder of the fund, Mykola Kuleba.
“The Save Ukraine team managed to take 19 Ukrainian children out of the temporarily occupied territories as part of the 12th rescue mission. This is already 196 children that our team returned to Ukraine.” Kuleba said.
He also thanked everyone who helped to carry out this difficult and important work.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Russians have often kidnapped Ukrainian children. They are separated from their parents during “filtering” and more. The main curator of their removal to the occupied territories and the Russian Federation is the Russian commissioner for children’s rights Maria Lvova-Belova.
It is known that the Russians harass them psychologically, call them names because they are Ukrainians and even beat them for disobedience.
The Ukrainian authorities will continue to search for persons involved in the abduction of Ukrainian children – the first suspicions of this crime were announced in June of this year.
