Combat medics will be able to transfuse blood to military personnel after passing appropriate training.
This was stated by the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Hanna Malyar.
“Now, a joint solution with the Ministry of Health has been found in this matter. Here the issue is different, so that these people have appropriate training. The essence of the discussion came down to just this.” – says Hanna Malyar.

According to her, the Command of the Medical Forces, the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Health found a compromise. Combat medics who do not have the appropriate education will be able to transfuse blood, but will undergo appropriate training.
Tactical medicine instructor Maria Nazarova called this compromise a victory in a comment to “UP. Life”.
Maria Nazarova reported that despite the fact that the government passed a resolution on providing military units with blood for transfusion, the command of the medical forces blocked the resolution and forbade combat medics to transfuse blood.
We will remind you that earlier we wrote about how tactical medicine is developing in Ukraine.
