EVI-2023: a demonstration version of the test for admission to the master’s program has appeared

In 2023, admission to the vast majority of master’s programs requires the results of the unified entrance exam (UEI). The EVI will contain 30 tasks from a foreign language (English, German, French or Spanish at the entrant’s choice), as well as 33 tasks from the General Educational Competence Test (GTC). The Ukrainian Center for Evaluation of the Quality of Education has developed a demonstration version of the test for future masters. You can take the demo test online on the UTSOYAO website or by downloading a file in PDF format. “Thanks to the specialists of the Lviv Regional Center for the Evaluation of the Quality of Education, future masters can practice performing the tasks of the EVI in a special online environment,” says the UTSOYAO. And for the test in foreign languages - to the Program of the unified entrance exam in foreign languages. The block of tasks from the test of general academic competence is the same for all potential masters, but tasks from a foreign language are optional. The interface of the proposed tester differs from the one that will be on the real EVI, the Center adds. However, the demo option is similar to the entrance test in terms of structure, types of tasks, and duration. “Both during the performance of the demonstration test and during the real testing, the entrant will be able to choose the sequence of tasks, return to this or that task if necessary, change the answer option, and after completing the work on the test, receive the test result,” the UTSOYAO explains. If you currently have a slow internet connection or are unable to work for 120 minutes at the computer, download the files with demo versions of ТZNK and a foreign language, complete the tasks and check your answers with the correct ones. Potential masters will be able to register for the EVI and EFVV from May 8 to May 31, inclusive, by contacting the admissions committee of the higher education institution. We will remind you that earlier the Ministry of Education and Science approved the schedule of entrance exams for the master’s degree in 2023. They will be held in two sessions.
