In Kyiv, a rehabilitation center for children who suffered as a result of Russia’s armed aggression will be created on the basis of the National Children’s Specialized Hospital of the Ministry of Health “Okhmatdit”. At the moment, children with mine-explosive, shrapnel, and bullet injuries are being treated in “Okhmatdyt”, as well as children from de-occupied territories and those who survived the occupation. Young patients require long-term rehabilitation and must be under the constant supervision of professionals. The center will give patients the opportunity to undergo effective rehabilitation using modern evidence-based methods, which will allow young patients to recover faster and return to a full life,” said the medical director of “Okhmatditu” Serhiy Chernyshuk.
