Therefore, on the eve of this academic year, there were no textbooks for the 5th grade of NUSH, which should have been printed a year ago, the Ministry of Education and Science reports. This year, the state allocated 754.9 million hryvnias for the printing of textbooks. The Ministry of Education and Culture says that this is still an insufficient amount to cover all needs. The department explained the situation with the printing and delivery of textbooks for schoolchildren. “Due to a lack of funds, the ministry had to make a difficult choice: what to print first, and which textbooks to wait. These are the classes of NUSH, for which the textbooks were only in electronic format,” they say. in MES, the Ministry has already attracted international partners, who financed the printing and delivery of textbooks for 238.1 million hryvnias.
