The Cabinet of Ministers allocated 2.5 billion hryvnias for the construction of shelters in schools

The Cabinet of Ministers made changes to the subvention from the state budget for the provision of safe conditions in secondary education institutions.
Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions will receive the most funds, reported Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.
A total of 2.5 billion hryvnias were allocated for the construction of shelters in schools.
First of all, it is about the front-line and border regions, namely:
- Kharkiv region – 500 million hryvnias;
- Dnipropetrovsk region – 500 million hryvnias;
- Zaporizhzhia region – 500 million hryvnias;
- Mykolayiv region – 200 million hryvnias;
- Kherson region – 200 million hryvnias;
- Odesa region – 150 million hryvnias;
- Sumy region – 150 million hryvnias;
- Chernihiv region – 150 million hryvnias.
We will remind, in Ukraine changed mechanism for distributing shelter construction funding in secondary education institutions. Now the distribution of funds between communities will take place using a point system through the DREAM platform.
