Heavyweight Fyodor Emelianenko ended his career in MMA with a loss
Russian master of mixed martial arts Fyodor Emelianenko had his last fight with American athlete Ryan Bader. After that, Emelianenko ends his sports career. Bader defeated Emelianenko by TKO in the first round.
Among the spectators at Emelianenko’s final fight were such martial arts stars as Mark Coleman, Rampage Jackson, Dan Henderson and Chuck Liddell. After the fight, the Russian wrestler thanked his fans, took off his gloves and laid them on the floor of the ring. He said that he intends to train young athletes further.
Ryan Bader expressed his gratitude to Emelianenko and said that it is not so much the victory over him that is important to him, but the honor of performing together with “the best fighter in the world.”
