Intellectual activity, in particular reading, has a positive effect on brain cells. The skill of obtaining information from a printed text will be 100% needed at school. Students who are read to a lot in preschool are more likely to learn successfully. Readers take a more proactive position in society. Studies conducted by the American agency NEA show that people who read regularly express their position on various issues more often than others, and do so more eloquently and convincingly. Reading forms worldview, character, empathy, tolerance. The reader gets a certain experience from the pages of the books, because together with the characters, he experiences numerous vicissitudes, doubts, mistakes, makes decisions and sees their consequences.
