In this case, you will be shown a copy of the letter from the manufacturer and from the Ministry of Health that the expiration date of this series of the vaccine has been extended,” the Ministry of Health says. ✅ Ask to show you the temperature indicator on the bottle – they are on many, but not all vaccines. ✅ The doctor can also show you the vaccine temperature recorders (if available) or the thermometer in the refrigerator at the vaccination point. Usually, already at the point of vaccination, the vaccine should be stored at a temperature of +2 to +8 degrees Celsius. “Important! In the case of vaccination with an expired vaccine or a vaccine that was stored at the wrong temperature, it should be understood that this does not harm health. But such a vaccine will not cause the required immune response,” says the Ministry of Health. At the same time, the department reminds: doctors monitor compliance with the rules for storing vaccines, so you should not be afraid of vaccination.
