A pensioner who justified the Russian invasion of Ukraine during a dispute in a store was tried in Volyn. A resident of the village of Konyukha, Volodymyr district, stated that Ukraine itself decided to fight with Russia on its territory. The attacker also blamed Ukraine for the missile attack on the railway station in Kramatorsk, which was carried out by the Russian occupiers on April 8, 2022. This is stated in the verdict of the Lokachyn district court of the Volyn region, reports ZAXID.NET. “The accused, while in the premises of the store, justifying, recognizing as legitimate, denying the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, which began in 2014, committed a criminal offense against peace, security of humanity and international legal order, provided for in Part 1 of Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine” , – they say in court. The incident happened on April 9, 2022 in a village store. Several women discussed Russian crimes, including the fact that the Russians killed many people in Buch, raped women. The pensioner claimed that it was not the Russians who did it, and that “ours are also raping.” The man also said that the Ukrainians “decided to fight against Russia”, so they should have gone to the Russian side, and not “work miracles” in Ukraine. Where did that Ukrainian rocket hit?… Well, it didn’t come from Russia, but a rocket came from Kyiv.” The head of the village council was called to the store. The man’s anti-Ukrainian statements were also recorded on video, which were then handed over to law enforcement officers. The pensioner himself does not admit his guilt and says that he “begged off” at the incomprehensible questions of his fellow villagers. According to him, he went to the store to buy “Red Moscow” cologne. Other visitors saw that he was buying such a product and started a discussion. He explained to them that this cologne was produced in the Lviv region, but the fellow villagers allegedly began to mock him. “He has always been against war. He believes that there should be peace and it is necessary to negotiate with Russia. He believes that because “Ukraine began to press”, that is why the war began. And it was necessary to make peace. It was Ukraine that started the war with its rhetoric, in particular, with an excuse UPA,” the pensioner was quoted in court. The man confirmed that he said that a rocket had allegedly arrived in Kramatorsk from Kyiv. However, he says he was misunderstood, and he “implied that it was very easy to track where the missile came from.” Ultimately, the court found the man guilty and initially sentenced him to 2 years in prison. But then the punishment was replaced by 1 year of probation. Also, a supporter of Russia was charged UAH 2,389 80 kopecks for conducting a forensic linguistic semantic-textual examination. We will remind you that on April 8 of last year, the Russians hit the railway station in Kramatorsk with Soviet Tochka-U missiles, which are in service with the Russian army, when thousands of people were being evacuated from there. As a result of shelling of Russians, 61 people died, including 7 children. The Pentagon also confirmed Russia’s guilt in this terrorist act.
