A clip from a Russian video chat is circulating on the Internet, on which a Ukrainian woman talks to a man who claims to be in Chechnya. In the video, a young boy was sitting next to him, who at the beginning shouted “Glory to Ukraine!” When the woman asked about her husband’s whereabouts, he replied that he did not understand the Ukrainian language. However, when the child who was nearby translated the question into Russian, the woman realized that the boy understood the Ukrainian language and was probably from Ukraine. The woman tried to find out where he was from, but the child looked scared into the camera and could hardly say anything. Later, the man assured that the child was from Kyiv. In the video behind the scenes, other male voices can also be heard, who are roaring and saying that together they will “go to take Kyiv”. Screenshot from the video Initially, information spread online that the video probably shows 8-year-old Ivan Malinovskyi, who disappeared in October 2022 in the Kherson region. However, later in the “Children’s Search Service”, Magnolia denied the information that the boy in the video is Ivan Malinovskyi. “We carefully checked the information, and also contacted Ivan’s mother, who is looking for him. The woman confirmed that the video is not her son, not Ivan Malinovsky!”, the message reads. In the “Find Your Own” project, which is engaged in the search for the missing, in the commentary “Ukrainian Pravda. Life”, it was reported that the boy was recognized from the video by his relatives. This information was provided to them by the police. “UP. Life” also contacted the law enforcement officers to confirm this information. Also, we turned to the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, for more detailed information about the child and are awaiting a response. We will remind, about 400 Ukrainian children have already been given to Russian families. Read also: “Help me”. The story of the deportation of a teenager who managed to return to Ukraine
