Patrick Haynes the strongest man in Englandrolled a cast-iron pan into a pipe with his bare hands like a newspaper.

The man claimed his title when he won England’s Strongest Man in front of around 3,000 fans in Warrington last September. writes Telegraph.

During an interview on BBC Radio Oxford, he demonstrated his strength by rolling a frying pan into a pipe in seconds.

Before that, presenter Adam Ball inspected the pan, tapping it on the table to make sure it was made of real cast iron.

Saying that the pan “will look like a taco when I’m done,” Haynes placed it on his lap and began rolling it up like a newspaper or magazine.

To the surprise of the host of the show, the athlete needed less than five seconds to completely deform the pan.

It comes ahead of the region’s first strongman competition, which will see athletes compete to be named Oxfordshire’s strongest man and woman.

One-day competitions consist of five exercises.

Among them: carrying a shield weighing 186 kg, in which Haynes took first place and set a new British record, “yoke walking” weighing 400 kg, deadlift weighing 320 kg.

Haynes has been competing in strongman competition for three years. In 2023, he defeated Paul Smith, the four-time champion and event favourite, and was just one point ahead of rival Andrew Flynn.

We will remind, Ukrainian Oleksiy Novikov became the second time the strongest man on the planet.
