A teenage girl from Kharkiv posted pro-Russian leaflets, campaigned for the creation of the so-called “Kharkiv People’s Republic”, and also recorded a video with the Z symbol and the anthem of the aggressor country in the center of the city. Her identity has already been established, the National Police of the Kharkiv Region informs. On June 21, concerned townspeople informed the law enforcement officers about a girl who was pasting leaflets with “symbols” of the so-called “China People’s Republic” on Freedom Square near the “Everything for Victory” tent. According to Serhiy Bolvinov, the head of the investigative department of the police of the Kharkiv region, she and her mother were already interrogated and the apartment was searched. However, apparently, the large amount of consumed Russian propaganda has clouded the young brain,” he said. The mother claims that she had no idea about the child’s anti-Ukrainian sentiments, despite her daughter’s pronounced position “for peace”. And she allegedly saw the video with the symbols only after the class teacher notified her. A whole collection of pro-Russian symbols was found in the teenager’s possession. “There are Russian flags, and slogans in support of the tsar and tsarist Russia, and Soviet symbols. All this was drawn by a teenage girl with her own hand. She also kept Soviet rubles. It is obvious that she seriously admires the aggressor country. And such strong anti-Ukrainian sentiments could hardly remain unnoticed by the mother,” adds the head of the investigation department of the police of the Kharkiv region. She will be prosecuted for failure to fulfill parental duties. “UP.Zhyttia” turned to the police of the Kharkiv region regarding the details of this case, but we were refused a comment. We will remind you that at the beginning of June, two pensioners who supported the occupation of the Russian Federation were detained in Lviv. The Security Service of Ukraine is handling the case.
