In Kharkiv, part of the students will study in the metro

In Kharkiv, schoolchildren will study in the subway premises several times a week. The city has already formed 60 such classes for 1,003 children, the mayor of Kharkiv Igor Terekhov said. Previously, the mayor of Kharkiv explained that children will study in the underground 3-4 times a week in shifts. Schoolchildren will be fed for free, and they will be taken to the subway by bus. Terekhov says that the stay of schoolchildren in the subway during the study period will not affect the operation of the subway and the possibility of using it as a shelter. In general, institutions of general secondary education in Kharkiv will start the academic year in remote mode. As a reminder, from September 1, 240,000 schoolchildren in Kyiv will study offline – this is 2.5 times more than last year.
