Employees of the Security Service detained a teacher who, as an accomplice, informed the Russians of the geolocation of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Donetsk region. The woman worked in one of the lyceums in Kramatorsk, the SBU reports. According to law enforcement officers, at the behest of Russian military intelligence, the woman collected information about the locations and movements of the units of the Armed Forces participating in the counteroffensive near Bakhmut. She sent the obtained information in the form of a photo with a link to the area and electronic coordinates via messenger to her accomplice from the temporarily occupied part of the Luhansk region. According to the SBU, the man is in the ranks of the so-called “Ministry of Emergency Situations” of the quasi-republic of the LPR. “It was with his “help” that the Russian special service recruited the teacher,” the SBU notes. They add that intelligence information was needed by the occupiers to plan combat operations aimed at slowing down the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces. During the searches, a mobile phone was seized from the detainee, which she used in intelligence and subversive activities. She was informed of the suspicion of high treason committed under martial law (Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code). The perpetrator faces life imprisonment.
