In Kyiv, a 51-year-old man will be tried for raping a woman with fatal consequences.
The Obolon district prosecutor’s office of Kyiv has already sent an indictment to the court, the city prosecutor’s office reports on social networks.
As the investigation established, on September 16, a man invited a 53-year-old woman to his home and offered to drink together.
The man began to insist on intimate relations, but the woman refused.
After that, the assailant hit her many times on the head and other parts of the body, and she fainted.

“Taking advantage of the woman’s helpless state, the man brutally raped her. The next day, the woman, who could not move on her own due to her injuries, was hospitalized in serious condition.
On September 19, the victim died in the hospital”– say the law enforcement officers.
According to the conclusion of the forensic medical examination, the woman died as a result of bodily injuries received during the rape.
Criminal proceedings were opened under Part 5 of Art. 152 of the Criminal Code (rape that caused serious consequences).
The offender is currently in custody. He faces 10 to 15 years in prison.
We will remind, earlier in Kyiv, the police detained a man who tried to rape a 12-year-old boy in the toilet.
And a policeman from the Kyiv region is suspected of raping his stepdaughter’s 10-year-old friend.
