In Chervonograd, Lviv region, a 29-year-old woman was fined for using a fake driver’s license. She wanted to exchange the “bought” document at the service center for a real one.
According to the court verdict, in January 2022, a native of the village of Sebechiv decided to illegally obtain the right to drive vehicles. In order to produce a fake driver’s license of category “B”, she provided her personal data and photo to a person whom the investigation could not identify.
On January 16, 2024, a woman came to the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Chervonohrad to allegedly replace her ID card, but in fact, instead of a fake document, she received a real one.
During the check at the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, it was found that the driver’s license was “bought”.
The woman pleaded guilty to committing criminal offenses provided for in part 5 of article 27, part 1 of article 358 and part 4 of article 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
She was fined 9,350 hryvnias. She also has to pay 3,000 hryvnias for the examination.
Earlier, in Khmelnytskyi region, a man purchased “linden” rights and complained to the Ministry of Internal Affairs that they were not available in “Dia”.
