Forced evacuation of children was announced in nine settlements of the Donetsk region. This was reported in the press center of the Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories. The appeal of the Donetsk Regional Government on evacuation was discussed at the meeting of the Coordination Staff on the mandatory evacuation of the population under martial law. Its participants unanimously voted for the forced evacuation of children from 9 settlements of Donetsk region, located near the areas of hostilities. In addition, they considered the issue of the evacuation of the civilian population from Sumy Oblast. Currently, 1,718 people have been evacuated from the 5-kilometer danger zone there – 229 of them are elderly.
