Three patients who were on artificial lung ventilation and a doctor died in the hospital due to carbon monoxide poisoning. Due to the fire, an investigation was launched into the fact of violation of fire safety requirements established by law. Deputies of the regional council prematurely terminated the contract with him. On June 22, 2023, the court found illegal and annulled the decision of the Zaporizhia Regional Council to fire Shynkarenko and terminate his contract. The court also levied wages in the amount of UAH 267,665 and UAH 10,000 in court costs for legal aid in favor of the medical director. “UP. Life” tried to contact the regional council, but did not receive a response. According to Stanislav Hryshyn, according to preliminary information, the regional council will not comply with the court’s decision, but will file an appeal.
