Of the 10 victims that have been identified, some have been buried and others taken for further investigation.
“Taking into account all the difficulties and emotional challenges, we hope to be able to help as many families as possible to find out the fate of their loved ones“, said Eli Escusido, director of the Israel Antiquities Authority.
According to the BBC, a video released by the Israel Antiquities Authority showed a group of archaeologists and soldiers in several destroyed houses in Kibbutz Beeri.
“In the same house, we found several bodies of terrorists along with weapons. There was a lot of blood, shocking things that are not worth describing”– says one of the archaeologists.
Another archaeologist assures in the video: “We’ll keep going until we get to the last burned house and know we’ve found everyone we can“.
